Router Chain Integrates Sui Network for Enhanced Cross-Chain Interoperability

Router Chain, a leading platform for cross-chain solutions, has integrated the Sui network into its expanding ecosystem, enabling seamless token transfers between Sui and EVM-compatible blockchains.
Sui Joins an Expanding Lineup of Cross-Chain Ecosystems
In a recent press release, Router Chain announced its integration with Sui, a layer-1 blockchain renowned for its Delegated Proof of Stake (dPoS) consensus mechanism. The Sui network becomes the latest addition to Router Chain’s ecosystem, which already includes prominent blockchains like Tron (TRX), Osmosis (OSMO), Solana (SOL), and Bitcoin (BTC).
This integration allows Sui users to leverage Router Chain’s decentralized cross-chain capabilities, providing direct access to Sui’s network without the need for manual network switching.
Nitro Bridge: Fast, Secure, and Cost-Effective
Router Chain’s cross-chain bridge, Nitro, will facilitate seamless transactions for Sui users, enabling coin swaps across multiple networks at an average transaction cost of $0.28. The platform ensures secure and decentralized asset movements, maintaining its commitment to user safety.
Ramani Ramachandran, CEO of Router Protocol, highlighted the importance of this milestone in an email statement:
“The Sui integration is a big step forward for Router Protocol. It opens up new ways to connect with Sui’s growing ecosystem, making it possible for users to move assets effortlessly from any EVM chain to Sui and vice versa.”
Nitro’s user-friendly interface allows Sui users to bridge assets across more than 30 integrated ecosystems with a single click. Router Protocol’s chain-abstracted experience simplifies asset transfers and interactions with multiple blockchains.
Expanding Horizons
Ramachandran also hinted at future expansions, stating that Router Protocol plans to integrate with additional EVM and non-EVM blockchains, including Sonic, Aptos, Casper, Starknet, Algorand, and Injective.
“Following the Sui integration, you can expect more networks. The goal is to provide seamless interoperability across diverse blockchain environments,” Ramachandran said.
In addition to expanding its network integrations, the Router Chain team is working on developing intent-based adapters to streamline complex blockchain actions like liquidity provision and staking for developers building on Sui.
Backed by Industry Leaders
Router Protocol’s ambitious efforts are supported by major players in the crypto space, including Coinbase Ventures, QCP, DeFi Capital, Wintermute, and Polygon. The platform’s focus on addressing critical challenges in cross-chain communication—such as security, scalability, decentralization, and the lack of cross-chain dApps—positions it as a key driver of Web3 adoption.
This integration with Sui represents a significant step toward a more interconnected blockchain landscape, reinforcing Router Chain’s mission to simplify and enhance cross-chain interactions for users worldwide.
