Ripple Transfers 42 Million RLUSD in 48 Hours, Sparking Community Excitement

Ripple, the blockchain powerhouse, is ramping up its testing of the RLUSD stablecoin ahead of its imminent launch. Recent data from the "Ripple Stablecoin Tracker" on X (formerly Twitter) indicates that the Ripple Treasury has minted several tens of millions of RLUSD stablecoins.
Following their minting, these RLUSD batches were transferred, often to anonymous blockchain addresses. This activity comes after Ripple announced its liquidity partners for the stablecoin, with CEO Brad Garlinghouse asserting that RLUSD aims to set the gold standard for enterprise-grade stablecoins.
Significant Transfers of RLUSD
The Ripple Stablecoin Tracker detailed six large transactions totaling 42 million RLUSD. These transfers were marked as either moving from "RLUSD Treasury to RLUSD Treasury" or facilitated between unknown wallets.
The largest transaction involved a staggering 18 million RLUSD, while two others transferred 9 million RLUSD each. Additional transfers included 4 million RLUSD and two smaller transactions of 1 million RLUSD each.
The crypto community responded enthusiastically, with many praising XRP and Ripple. One user even expressed optimism for the minting of one billion RLUSD in the near future.
Ripple Leadership Comments on RLUSD
In a recent tweet, Brad Garlinghouse highlighted RLUSD's development as the annual Ripple Swell event kicked off, where key figures in the crypto industry gather to share insights with XRP enthusiasts.
Garlinghouse noted that RLUSD has been nearly a year in the making. He emphasized that, following announcements about exchange partners and market makers at Swell, RLUSD is poised to become the gold standard for enterprise-grade stablecoins, built on a foundation of trust, liquidity, and regulatory compliance.
In a related tweet, Ripple President Monica Long confirmed that RLUSD will be utilized alongside XRP on the Ripple network, a message that resonated well with the XRP community.
